• Machine Operator
• who is eager to work in a fast-paced team-oriented work environment in our
• Richmond
• , BC location. The Machine Operator operates various production, processing, and packaging machines.
• Position :
• Full-Time, Permanent
• Salary :
• $19.75 / hour (paid on a weekly basis!)
• Shift :
• Monday-Friday, 6 : 00am - 2 : 30pm, Sundays when needed
• Duties and Responsibilities :
• Operates specific production machines safely and efficiently.
• Works with production supervisors and managers to schedule production on specified equipment.
• Follows company-standardized pack specifications along with any customer-specified deviations, as communicated through special instructions via work orders / cut tickets.
• Follows the company's detailed product specifications.
• Perform Quality Control checks and communicate with supervisors and managers any defects.
• Communicates with production supervisors and managers regarding any maintenance concerns and PM scheduling.
• Offers assistance to other team members.
• A machine operator must follow and maintain all Quality Assurance, HACCP, SQF requirements, and Occupational Health & Safety regulations and ensure all employees in their department follow them.
• Perform any other duties as required.
• Skills, Qualifications, and Experience :
• Previous manufacturing experience in a food processing facility
• Basic machine operational knowledge (turning machines on / off, changing programs, and re-tooling basics)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
• Must be able to work on weekends and holidays
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to work independently or within a team environment
• Must adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
• Follows the company's Quality Control procedures
