Position Summary

The IT Support Analyst is primarily responsible for the coordination of the IT Help Desk for the Company. Possessing low to mid-tier IT knowledge, the incumbent will maintain and update a significant portion of Citron Hygiene employee requests.

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the IT Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the IT Support Analyst include, but are not limited to, the following :

  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving technical problems, and escalating complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
  • Setup and troubleshoot PC and Laptop computers.
  • Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions to setup and troubleshoot mobile devices including iPhones and Androids.
  • Maintain User Accounts and Security Groups and their Policies with Active Directory.
  • Basic understanding of networking principles, including TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, and network troubleshooting.
  • Assist with the administration of O365 applications, including user management, access control, and configuration.
  • Maintain antivirus software across the organization, ensuring all systems are protected against malware and viruses.

Minimum Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in Networking, Computer Science, Computer Systems or equivalent.
  • A+ Certification.
  • Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
  • Proficiency in Active Directory user management and group policies.
  • Excellent understanding of IT best practices.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience working in an IT support environment.
  • Proven oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of O365 applications and administration.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Desire to learn new skills and genuine computer interests.
  • Previous experience with Salesforce and NetSuite will be considered an asset.

Working Conditions

  • Work normal business hours but may be required to do some work in the evenings or outside normal working hours;
  • Required to work in a busy, open area which may result in constant interruptions;
  • Required to spend long hours concentrating which will require attention to detail and high levels of accuracy;
  • Required to meet several deadlines which may cause stress.
