We seek a US Immigration Lawyer to provide US legal advice in connection with US Consular Services in the Americas region.

More specifically, you will provide legal advice to Fragomen offices in connection with US Consular Services (NIV and IV appointment preparation, trouble-shooting) throughout the America’s.

How will you make a difference as a Manager / Associate at Fragomen?

  • Communicate with client and colleagues on complex Consular case matters, including refusal risks, processing trends, and criminal matters.
  • Liaise with US Embassies and Consulates.
  • Manage a team of lawyers and Analyst
  • Troubleshoot and establish case strategy.
  • Manage the workflow of the team and ensure compliance and quality standards are met.
  • Deal with clients on complex matters.
  • Displays professionalism, quality service and a positive attitude to internal members and departments of the Firm as well as external clients and vendors via electronic correspondence, telephone and in person.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment

Leverage your valuable skills and experience to make an impact at Fragomen :

  • Member of a US State bar and Canadian bar admission is also an asset;.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an immigration lawyer (post bar admission); with a focus on Consular.
  • Ability to identify legal issues, analyze facts and determine appropriate case strategy;
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion;
  • Prior team management experience preferred
  • Experience with high-volume, corporate clientele and managing a wide-ranging case load in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with clients and staff;
  • Ability to effectively utilize on-line case management and legal research tools;
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing demands

We work with a hybrid model with a minimum of 2 days in the office.
