Responsibilities :
- Handle various aspects of securities law matters, including transactional work related to public offerings, private placements, and securities regulatory compliance.
- Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide advice on securities law matters to clients.
- Assist in the preparation of offering documents, prospectuses, and other transactional documents.
- Work collaboratively with other legal professionals and clients to facilitate successful transactions.
- Stay updated with changes in securities regulations and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active license to practice law in Ontario.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in securities law, preferably with transactional experience.
- Familiarity with Canadian securities regulations and laws.
- Ideally, previous experience working in a Bay Street firm or similar high-profile legal environment.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
