The impact you'll have :

As a Sr. Learning Advisor, you play a pivotal role in shaping our organization’s leadership capabilities. By collaborating closely with aligned business units and cross-functionally within the organization, the Sr.

Learning Advisor identifies and develops impactful learning programs that support the productivity and effectiveness of the organization.

As an expert in learning, enablement, and upskilling best practices the following are critical to the Sr. Learning Advisor role.

Leadership program development

Drives the execution of leadership development programs

Expertise in learning ensures leaders acquire the skills and mindset needed for success

Influence and accountability

Works closely with leaders across the organization to foster a culture of accountability

Cultivates skill development and behavior change, contributing to a high-performing leadership team

Purpose-driven leadership

Champions purpose-driven leadership within the organization

Efforts align with leadership behaviors, and company-wide strategic goals

What you'll do : All in Leadership

All in Leadership

Drive the execution of the Softchoice leadership development strategy and deliver on current and developing enablement programs for all leaders

Manage and deliver the Leadership Academy Program, delivering a consistent experience to all participants through experiential cohort-based learning

Collaborate across L&D to share and infuse leadership content into holistic learning plans with the end goal of developing Softchoice leadership capabilities that are aligned with our leadership behaviors, purpose and other key initiatives

Partner with relevant stakeholders (SLT / ELT, HRBP) to drive retention and engagement of top talent individuals and leaders

Build cross-functional partnerships consulting on learning best practices to support programing that drives positive behavior change and achieves business goals

Foster collaboration with external vendor relationships relative to external programs / platforms (PDG, 1-DEGREE)

Support leaders with career development resources, empowering stronger career coaching conversations across the organization

Demonstrate inclusive leadership and maintain credibility by keeping current on industry trends, internal process changes, and learning best practices

Facilitate and coach leaders showcasing credibility, influence and impact that drives behavior change and adoption

Continually seek ways to improve processes and programs; operationalize all programs while continuing to offer a human and inspiring learning experience

Sales Leadership

Partner with Sales Engagement Managers to support the training and enablement of our sales leaders- ensuring alignment with our coaching best practices and leadership behaviors

Support with content and act a Leadership SME for sales leader specific training through the Coaching to Performance (C2P) Program

Learn how other BU’s are supported by Sr. Learning Advisors to support on other projects as required and develop cross-functional knowledge, with the end goal of taking on projects that will have the biggest positive impact on the org

What you bring to the table :

2+ years of one of the following ideal : B2B sales experience, corporate training experience, customer support experience, project management experience or relevant corporate experience

1+ years experience in people leadership at any level

Experience in coaching, training, or mentoring through formal or apprentice / mentorship programs

Experience with, and passion for, learning and development and helping others grow

Strong activating / execution skills

Strong facilitation and coaching skills

Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness

Ability to manage multiple priorities with complex timelines

Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment

A powerful curiosity, and hunger for ongoing learning and a willingness to tackle new challenges

This is a hybrid role with the expectation to be in the Toronto office atleast once a week
