The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SQL, ETL processes, and modern Azure-based data platforms (including Databricks and Medallion architecture), along with strong skills in business requirement gathering, stakeholder engagement, and supporting the full project lifecycle. This is a permanent, full-time role based in Atlantic Canada on a hybrid basis (2–3 days in office).

- . Lead requirements-gathering sessions for data-centric projects to improve business processes and information flow
- . Analyze existing systems and data processes to identify areas for enhancement and optimization
- . Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for developers, data engineers, and other technical stakeholders
- . Support data modeling, data quality, and data governance efforts by providing clear and structured documentation
- . Create process models, data flow diagrams, use cases, and user stories to communicate solutions
- . Validate business requirements, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and coordinate with QA teams to ensure solution quality
- . Participate in the design and delivery of ETL workflows, data mappings, and integration logic
- . Work with Azure Databricks to design and optimize data pipelines following Medallion architecture principles (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers)
