Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Advanced Test Engineer to join our Avionics team in Mississauga. In this critical role, you will design, develop, and implement advanced testing solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of avionics systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, optimize testing processes, and mentor junior engineers.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for complex avionics systems, ensuring full functional coverage.
- Develop and enhance automated test frameworks to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Analyze test data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
- Lead root cause analysis for test failures and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with design and product teams to define testing requirements and align with project objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Support CI initiatives by integrating automated testing into development pipelines.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices for test engineering.
- Manage test equipment lifecycle, from design and validation to maintenance and upgrades.
