Job Title : Software Tester

One of Actalent's premier clients is currently looking to add qualified Software Testers to their rapidly expanding team. With the addition of a brand new cutting edge project, supported by the Canadian government over the next 10+ years, we are currently seeking long term consultants in order to fulfill the needs of this project. Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of comprehensive test procedures and test cases to identify software weaknesses and potential points of failure.
• Execute test procedures, scripts, and protocols to assess software / code functionality and document test results.
• Provide advanced support for tactical applications within the Mobile Domain, custom databases, Data Service Layer, and other various services.
• Support planning and deployment applications.
• Oversee the development and build environment, ensuring compilation of source codes for builds and releases in accordance with security requirements.
• Manage a product test environment to ensure each Configuration Item (CI) can be product tested prior to code release in accordance with security requirements.
• Raise and manage System Problem Reports (SPRs) and provide expert support in response to SPR queries.
• Provide high-level application support during test and integration events.
• Integrate product test and integration products into the overall build structure.

This is a Contract position based out of Ottawa, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00 / hr.
