Prepare repair estimates and obtain work authorization approval from customer
Disassemble and repair airless sprayers, pumps, industrial coating systems, proportioners, valves, compressors, flow monitors, control systems and related equipment
Conduct troubleshooting and preventative maintenance inspections
Install and commission new packages
Type service reports, work orders, and respond to client emails
Follow safety rules and regulations including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
Develop positive professional relationships with existing and potential customers
Successful candidates will have :
Previous exposure to both low and high pressure pumps, painting equipment & lubrication equipment
Ability to work in an environment where chemicals and solvents are used
Clean driving record and valid driver's license for operating a company vehicle. Driver's abstract may be required during the selection process
Valid passport for travel to the USA for training
Self-motivated and able to work independently, meeting deadlines and progressing through daily tasks
As a service technician, you will be expected to move and handle equipment, tools, and materials. This may involve lifting objects weighing up to 50lbs, to performing physical tasks throughout the workday. It is essential that candidates possess the necessary physical capabilities to fulfill these job requirements effectively and safely
Willingness to work overtime when needed for repairs that extend beyond regular business hours.
Total rewards :
35.00 - $45.00 hourly
Competitive base salary based on experience - candidates with junior, intermediate and senior experience will all be considered for this position, hence the general median salary range highlighted above
