Responsibilities
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely and responsibly in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Accurately use precision measuring equipment and properly document measurements and findings.
- Safely lift, move, and position materials using appropriate tools, equipment, and lifting aids as required.
- Perform work using hand tools, power equipment, and hydraulic systems in a safe and effective manner.
- Follow written instructions, technical drawings, and documentation to support manufacturing and operational processes.
- Identify issues, use initiative to troubleshoot problems, and contribute to quality workmanship and continuous improvement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or operator role is an asset.
- Valid forklift operator certification required; overhead crane certification considered a strong asset.
- Physically able to lift and move materials safely, with or without mechanical assistance.
- Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and attention to detail.
Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and overhead cranes, handling materials safely, reading technical documentation, and contributing to high-quality production outcomes.
