Job description
As a Site Superintendent, you will be the driving force behind our construction sites, guiding major projects from the ground up through to final handover. We are looking for an assertive, on-site leader dedicated to delivering builds on schedule, within financial targets, and in strict adherence to premium quality benchmarks. Your comprehensive grasp of the construction life cycle and exceptional communication skills will be essential in aligning trades, subcontractors, internal management, and clients toward a unified go

Advantages
Competitive Compensation: An attractive annual salary ranging from $100,000.00 to $140,000.00, commensurate with your expertise.

Comprehensive Health Package: Extensive medical coverage, including extended health, dental, and vision care.

Financial Security: Participation in an employer RRSP matching program and company profit-sharing initiatives.

Peace of Mind: Provided life insurance coverage.

Stable Opportunity: Full-time, permanent position offering continuous professional development and long-term career stability.

Responsibilities
Direct and manage all daily on-site construction activities, ensuring strict compliance with project milestones and budgetary limits.

Analyze and translate technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to guide accurate and compliant field execution.

Independently manage complex scopes of work, with a specific focus on overseeing building envelope and interior finishing phases.

Leverage industry-standard software platforms, specifically Procore and Bluebeam, to maintain precise project documentation and track daily progress.

Perform continuous site walk-throughs to uphold stringent Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) measures, managing all related program documentation.

Champion the site safety program, strictly enforcing occupational health and safety regulations to guarantee a secure work environment for all personnel.

Provide strong mentorship, supervision, and direction to diverse site crews, fostering a highly productive and collaborative atmosphere.

Partner closely with Project Managers and estimators to review costs, refine budgets, and resolve site-level operational challenges swiftly.

Qualifications
Industry Experience: A minimum of 10 years of broad experience within the construction industry.

Leadership Experience: At least 5 years of dedicated experience acting in a Site Superintendent capacity.

Project Scale: A demonstrated portfolio of successfully leading and delivering large-scale builds valued at $15 million and above.

Technical Acumen: Advanced proficiency in navigating blueprints, schematics, and complex construction documentation.

Specialized Knowledge: Deep, hands-on expertise managing interior finishing and building envelope systems.

Software Proficiency: Highly capable of utilizing modern construction management technology, notably Procore and Bluebeam.

Quality & Cost Control: Strong background in implementing QA/QC programs and a solid understanding of estimating and budgeting fundamentals.

Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and the capacity to seamlessly manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Summary
This role is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned construction professional to take ownership of significant, high-value builds while leading a dynamic on-site team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a meticulous eye for detail, and have a proven history of driving operational excellence from groundbreaking to closeout, this position will be highly rewarding.
