Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily coordination of trades and site activities
  • Support execution of the construction schedule and short-term lookaheads
  • Oversee framing, building envelope, and interior trade sequencing
  • Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress and quality
  • Identify and address deficiencies early
  • Ensure subtrades are adequately staffed and progressing on schedule
  • Enforce site safety standards and WorkSafe compliance
  • Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings
  • Review drawings and flag discrepancies prior to work proceeding
  • Coordinate municipal inspections and required sign-offs
  • Maintain site organization, cleanliness, and material flow
  • Assist with deficiency tracking, pre-delivery walkthroughs, and turnover

Qualifications

  • 2–5+ years of residential construction experience
  • Wood-frame townhouse experience strongly preferred
  • Experience as a Lead Hand, Foreman, or Junior Assistant Superintendent considered
  • Strong understanding of residential construction sequencing
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

  • Organized, reliable, and consistent on site

If you are currently working in wood-frame construction and looking to move into a more structured leadership role with clear progression, this opportunity offers strong long-term growth within a stable Fraser Valley builder.
