Job description

Job Title: Senior Product Owner
Location: Vancouver, BC
Note: Prior experience in BFSI, Public Sector, or Healthcare is non-negotiable.

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner with a strong background in BFSI, Public Sector, or Healthcare environments. The ideal candidate will lead product strategy, manage complex initiatives, and drive delivery of enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product strategy and roadmap development for enterprise initiatives.
  • Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to define product priorities.
  • Support modernization, digital transformation, and compliance-focused programs.
  • Manage complex product backlogs and prioritize business requirements.
  • Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver customer, citizen, or patient-focused solutions.
  • Define and communicate product vision across multiple stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment between product goals and organizational objectives.
  • Support governance, risk, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor product success metrics and drive continuous improvement.
  • Mentor junior Product Owners and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience as a Senior Product Owner within BFSI, Public Sector, or Healthcare environments.
  • Experience leading enterprise product initiatives and transformation programs.
  • Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience working with executive stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Strong backlog management and product prioritization skills.
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications and digital platforms.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Experience working within Agile environments.
  • CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent certification preferred.
