SDET - Software Development Engineer in Test

DOZR.com is the world's largest online equipment rental marketplace which combines price transparency, a comprehensive view of the market, and a seamless user experience for contractors and rental companies.

The DOZR.com marketplace is expanding fast, and as a founding SDET - Software Development Engineer in Test you will be leading the efforts in helping establish our quality engineering processes, guidelines, and ensuring our software products deliver a world class experience to customers and partners.

In a typical day, you will :

Build regression testing checklists for new launches

Build unit and integration tests in Typescript

Conduct exploratory end to end manual testing

Coach other engineers on our quality processes

Ensure new launch deliveries meet our quality standards

The ideal candidate has :

Passion for the intersection of software engineering and quality engineering

Interest and passion for building out QA processes and delivery best in class software products

Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable and robust production grade code

Ability to collaborate and executing within a fast-paced engineering team with agile dev sprints

Flexibility to adapt quickly to new problems and learn new skills fast. We have a diverse microservices based architecture, and continuously encounter new and exciting engineering problems!

Independent learners who can quickly ramp up to speed on our stack (React / Redux / React Native / Node.js / MongoDB), and build features end to end for our client facing web and native applications

Ability to conduct peer code reviews of fellow developers in the Full Stack Engineering team
