About the Company

Our Client is a leading commercial installer of glass products. They specialize in building and installing custom high-rise glass projects, entrances, revolving doors, and automatic operators.

They are seeking a Sales Estimator with experience in the glazing industry to join their team!

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with clients and vendors to have good communication for create and assess the scope of work documents and understanding the project thoroughly
• Prepare detailed cost estimates of materials, labour and equipment for construction projects based on contract bids, quotations, schematic drawings, and specifications
• Manage project documentation, including creating and sending quotes, handling drawing revisions, and adjusting the scope of work as per client requests
• Organize project commencement and closeout documentation, including warranties, drawings, manuals and permits
• Keep track of project status on a regular basis and communicating with clients professionally by making calls or sending emails
• Analyze completed projects to compare estimated costs to actual costs and determine the reason for any discrepancies
• Interpret construction and architectural drawings to calculate quantities and prepare accurate project estimates
• Apply analytical thinking to troubleshoot and resolve challenges that arise during project execution
• Utilize company software to document project data, generate purchase orders (POs), and provide project commencement documents to project managers
• Collaborate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project success
