Our client, a large and well-established pension fund, is seeking a Manager, Collateral Management to join their team on a 6-month contract assignment. This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days onsite and 1 day remote.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Manager, Collateral Management will lead a team of skilled professionals responsible for margin management and collateral resilience. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring daily margin requirements are met through the effective management of eligible securities.
This position sits within the broader Public Investments Operations group within the Finance Division and will be responsible for supporting the operational effectiveness, risk management, and resilience of the collateral management function.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in collateral management, margin operations, securities, and financial markets, along with demonstrated leadership experience managing a team in a complex investment or financial services environment.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience; professional designations such as CPA (CA, CGA, CMA) or CFA are considered strong assets.
- 8–10+ years in Investment Operations, specifically with collateral management expertise such as a deep understanding of ISDA CSA/GMRA agreements, cleared margin activities, regulatory collateral initiatives (SIMM, Sponsored Repo), collateral management services, and buy-side investment operations.
- Proven ability to lead teams, inspire performance, and champion change initiatives that drive measurable operational improvements with experience in a leadership or people-management role.
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience partnering across diverse teams and working with senior leaders to navigate complex structures and support informed decision-making.
