Job description

EQ3 is an innovative leader in furniture and accessory design with retail locations across Canada and a rapidly growing e-commerce presence. We are seeking a Flagship Visual Coordinator to join our growing Retail team. This is a full-time position in our EQ3 Flagship Location in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Flagship Visual Coordinator will work closely with the Store Manager to maximize results through visual merchandising. The Flagship Visual Coordinator will execute visually inspiring floor plans by interpreting company direction and translating it effectively to the store.

THE SKILLS YOU'LL NEED:

  • 5+ years of Visual Merchandising experience, preferably in the home or furniture space
  • Degree, diploma, or certificate in a subject such as interior design, interior decorating, graphic design, fine art, business studies, or retail management
  • Experience in furniture, design, and the field of visual merchandising, including window displays, signs, interior displays and space utilization is an asset. Installation experience is an asset.
  • Ability to read and interpret floor plans and elevations
  • Experience interpreting sales and category business reporting
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Proficient in various operations and systems, including AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Canva
  • Use of power tools and comfortable with electrical wiring, skilled at patching walls and painting, comfortable working at heights and able to climb ladders, confident lifting and moving furniture

MORE ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Execute seasonal floor plans to create sales-driving and visually inspiring stores
  • Review and understand incoming floor model product orders
  • Responsible for checking the Open Order Report, SharePoint, WPM, and emails daily for updates
  • Partner with the Store Manager to adjust the floor plan to drive the business when backed up with data and reasoning
  • Follow current company direction and trends in visual merchandising
  • Coordinate staff support when needed through the Store Manager
  • Drive the business through effective merchandising
  • Supports store openings and projects as needed
  • Partners with the Assistant Manager to oversee sales floor maintenance
  • Facilitates markdowns through communication and execution
  • Executes promo signage with proper timing
  • Communicates store ideas/adjustments needed to the Regional Visual Merchandising Manager
