Design, develop, and deliver engaging learning experiences tailored for adult learners, using instructional design best practices.
- Create SCORM-compliant eLearning modules using Adobe Captivate (or similar tools).
- Manage training content, course assignments, and reporting through the Workday Learning LMS (or comparable systems).
- Support onboarding and continuous learning initiatives by aligning training to job classifications (JCC codes) and operational needs.
- Facilitate virtual and in-person training sessions, workshops, and learning events.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training gaps and translate business needs into effective learning programs.
- Build job aids, manuals, and supporting materials using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Maintain and organize training content using SharePoint Online (news posts, libraries, and learning hubs).
- Track and evaluate training effectiveness and make data‑informed recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in the development of scalable communication plans and learner engagement strategies.
- Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate).
- Hands‑on experience with LMS platforms (Workday Learning preferred), including course creation, assignment, tracking, and reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Experience with SharePoint Online (content management, page design, document libraries).
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and curriculum design.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, or Training Facilitation.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field (required).
- Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), Instructional Designer Certification, or ATD / ISPI credentials are considered an asset.
- Experience developing training for operational, warehouse, or technical audiences.
- Familiarity with SCORM / xAPI standards and LMS data reporting.
- Exposure to video editing, screen capture, or interactive content design tools.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional business environment.
