Server for a one-day community event in
Saint John, NB. We are looking for 10 enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to help ensure a fun and successful community picnic. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
In this role, you will assist with food service, support recreational activities, provide excellent customer service, and help with event setup and cleanup to ensure attendees have a positive experience.
- Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
- Location: Saint John, NB
- Schedule: Saturday, August 22 | 8:45 AM - 3:00 PM
- Employment Type: Temporary | One-Day Assignment
Responsibilities- Transport food from the kitchen and cooking area to the indoor buffet.
- Serve food portions to event attendees.
- Monitor and assist with activity stations, including badminton, arts and crafts, and other family-friendly activities.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to guests.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe event environment.
- Assist with event setup before the event and cleanup afterward.
- Work collaboratively with the event team to ensure the day runs smoothly.
- Perform other event support duties as assigned.
Qualifications- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
- Friendly, professional, and confident interacting with the public.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Clean criminal background check required.
- Previous customer service or event experience is considered an asset but is not required.
