Job description
Adecco is currently hiring a full-time professional and energetic Event Servers to support a prestigious, high-profile sailing event in Halifax!
This is your chance to be part of an exciting waterfront event, delivering exceptional service to guests in a fast-paced and vibrant environment. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy creating memorable guest experiences, we want you on our team!
This position provides an all-inclusive wage structure, and there is no cash or tip handling required
  • Pay Rate: $ 34.59/hour
  • Location: Halifax, NS
  • Shifts: June 18 - June 21/2026
    • June 18 - NA
    • June 19 - NA
    • June 20 - 11:00am - 9:00pm OR 12:00pm - 8:00pm
    • June 21 - 11:00am - 9:00pm OR 12:00pm - 8:00pm

Responsibilities:
  • Provide attentive, professional food and beverage service to guests
  • Take orders and deliver food and drinks efficiently and accurately
  • Ensure tables and service areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests
  • Work collaboratively with bartenders, kitchen staff, and event teams
  • Assist with event setup, service execution, and teardown
  • Maintain high standards of service aligned with event expectations
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Must be 19+ (Nova Scotia legal age for alcohol service environments)
  • Valid Serve Right Certification (Nova Scotia) required
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Previous serving experience in restaurants, events, or banquet settings preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Professional, polished, and customer-focused demeanor
  • Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
