Job description

Our client is seeking a Wait Staff - Server to join their team. As a Wait Staff - Server, you will be part of the service team supporting special event operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer-first mindset, clear communication skills, and a commitment to food safety—skills that will help you deliver a memorable guest experience during a regional celebration.

Job Title: Wait Staff - Server

Location: KINGSTON, ON

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Shift: Hours Per Shift: 7, Shift Start Time: 07:30 AM

What's the Job?

Serve guests during a special event by providing friendly, attentive, and timely service.
Support an excellent customer experience by communicating clearly with guests and the event team.
Follow food safety principles and procedures to help maintain a clean, safe service environment.
Assist with event service needs as required, including setup and ongoing support during service.
Be prepared for physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing.

What's Needed?

Previous experience as a server or in a food service role preferred.
Excellent customer service skills with a positive, guest-focused approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Working knowledge of food safety principles and procedures.
Ability to obtain a food safety certification and availability for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
