Required Education & ExperienceUniversity degree in Chemical Engineering and/or 3 - 5 years of experience working in the e-coat/paint facilities Excellent English communication skills (oral and written)Excellent organizational and time management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook) knowledgeKnowledge in CAD: 3D Models, Drawings and GD&Ts an assetKnowledge of e-coat and powder coat process is an assetEssential FunctionsConsistently develop, assess and implement continuous improvement projects in relation to current or future project planning.Design, develop, and test new coatings systems and chemical titrationsConduct research into the development or improvement of coatings process Oversee all testing in relation to the e-coat and powder coat lineSupervise e-coat lab technicians Establish and conduct quality control programs, operating procedures and control strategies to ensure consistency and adherence to standards for raw materials, products and waste products or emissionsAssist in paint line qualificationEnsure compliance with all applicable codes, standards and legislation including Environmental Legislation, O.
