As part of our expansion in Canada, we are looking for a Security Specialist to join the team of one of our clients.
Location : Toronto
Contract Duration : 12 months
Work Mode : Hybrid
Your Responsibilities
As a Security Specialist , you will :
- Serve as a subject matter expert in Technology Risk policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Guide business and technology teams to comply with security standards.
- Facilitate reviews to assess Segregation of Duties (SOD) policies .
- Recommend best practices for Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and SOD.
- Monitor, detect, and prevent security threats by implementing governance practices.
- Support audits and regulatory compliance efforts.
- Influence risk management culture and enhance security processes.
Your Profile
7–10 years of experience in security risk management.
Expertise in IAM controls and industry standards .
Strong understanding of risk and control frameworks .
Advanced MS Excel skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction .
Analytical and solution-driven mindset .
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills .
Autonomous and detail-oriented .
