Job description

Are you an experienced SAP Tester ready to take on an exciting role in ensuring the quality and success of complex software implementations? Join our Edmonton client on an initial 12-month contract as an Senior SAP Tester and utilize your expertise to develop and execute comprehensive testing scenarios, liaise with stakeholders, and deliver reliable solutions. This role is integral to maintaining the integrity of critical systems and offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and methodologies in a collaborative, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute detailed test scenarios, cases, scripts, and steps to validate system functionality.
  • Plan and perform setup of required testing data for comprehensive coverage.
  • Document testing outcomes and present summary reports to business stakeholders.
  • Liaise with the Test Manager, IT teams, and business users to ensure thorough testing and quality assurance.
  • Manage concurrent testing activities across multiple project streams
  • Qualifications

    Mandatory Qualifications

  • Minimum seven (5) years of experience in information technology
  • Minimum five (3) years of experience in a senior CIS testing role of a complex software implementation.
  • Experience with testing methodologies (Migration Testing, IST, Automated Testing, Mock Go-Live etc…)
  • Experience developing and executing test plans and scripts
  • Experience testing multiple streams concurrently
  • Strong analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills amongst IT analysts and business user audiences
  • Ability to concurrently manage multiple assignments and deliverables
  • Experience with a utility business (i.e. power, water, wastewater, gas)
  • Experience with testing SAP ISU software (i.e. CRM, DM / PM, MT, etc.)
  • Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with / knowledge of Alberta Market Transactions (i.e.; SSC and TBF transactions)
  • Experience with JIRA & Zephyr
  • Experience with test estimation
