We are seeking an experienced Splunk Developer/Consultant for a remote contract role running 06/07/2026 to 12/31/2027. A valid Secret security clearance is required. The consultant will support a Cyber Monitoring and Response (M&R) team in enhancing and maintaining a large-scale Splunk Enterprise Security environment, with a focus on SIEM operations, security/risk-based use case development, and integration across Splunk, SOAR platforms, and other enterprise data and analytics systems. This role will work closely with the Assistant Director, Cyber Security Operations and key stakeholders to improve platform stability, performance, and security monitoring effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of hands-on Splunk Enterprise Security experience, including deployment support, data ingestion and parsing, and building advanced analytics and machine learning use cases. Responsibilities include supporting Splunk integrations with other security tools, troubleshooting data flow and system issues, documenting technical deliverables, and contributing to solution design and optimization of the Splunk ecosystem. Strong experience in SIEM/SOAR integrations, cybersecurity operations, and enterprise environments, along with working knowledge of Linux, Windows, and Syslog, is essential.
