Our client, a leading automotive parts manufacturer located in Windsor, Ontario requires a Sales Account Manager - Automotive

Summary
This position reports directly to the Corporate Sales Manager and requires an experience Sales Account Manager with experience in direct OEM account management, preferably metal stampings, and modular assemblies.
•Position functions include direct representation to OEM Purchasing, Quality, and Engineering departments as well as account administration.
•Commensurate with the overall automotive business strategies, develop written annual account strategies to maintain existing business and obtain new business with assigned customer accounts.
•Conduct regular contact and communication with customer purchasing and other key program personnel relative to relationship development and closure of commercial issues.
•Execute approved account strategy and provide leadership for the successful implementation at assigned accounts.
•Establish and maintain customer contacts at all levels (Engineering, R&D, sales, production, and marketing) to maximize opportunities for new business.
•Provide direction and leadership to both technical and customer service personnel to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction at assigned accounts.
•Develop and maintain a high degree of product and application knowledge.
•Develop sales forecasts and budgets per account to accurately set forth the optimum volume of sales of forecasted products.
Qualifications
•The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience within tier automotive manufacturing/supplier, preferably in stampings and welded assemblies.
•A post secondary diploma or degree in a business-related program or technical field such as Engineering, Quality desired but will also consider equivalent professional working business development experience.
•Seeking a talented and motivated individual who possess the desire to excel in their field.
•Strong organizational, marketing, communication and administration skills are required.
•Background and a successful track record dealing with Automotive OEM customers.
