Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:40PM, 5 days onsite
Salary: $57,000-$65,000 per year
Kelly Services is hiring Purchasing Coordinators on behalf of our client in Port Coquitlam, BC. This is a permanent full-time opportunity within a fast-paced supply chain environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Place, track, and follow up on purchase orders for parts and materials
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth order processing
- Monitor shipment and delivery timelines; expedite orders when required
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure performance and on-time delivery
- Process claims for shipment or invoice discrepancies and resolve issues with vendors
- Maintain procurement and supplier performance reports
- Support general administrative and procurement-related tasks
What You Bring:
- 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain in wholesale, industrial, construction, or hardware is required
- Experience in a high-volume SKU environment
- Post-secondary education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
