Job Description

About Us

We are Edmonton’s Destination Management and Marketing Organization (DMMO). We also manage two of Edmonton’s award-winning venues, the Edmonton Convention Centre and the Edmonton EXPO Centre. We help tell Edmonton’s story, elevate the Edmonton experience, and drive inbound visitation and economic impact in the visitor economy.

Working together in a one-team approach aligned by our core values, Explore Edmonton’s business units’ market and sell Edmonton as a year-round destination to visit, work, and play in while also developing products and experiences that have a uniquely Edmonton flavour. And by incorporating the management of the city’s two award-winning venues into Explore Edmonton, we are uniquely positioned to attract major events, meetings, and conventions to our city, generating greater economic impact. While Explore Edmonton’s mandate is focused on generating inbound visitation, what we do and how we do it also enhances and amplifies the quality of life for Edmontonians. The people who live here are our greatest ambassadors, so making it easier for them to love our city makes it easier for us to sell it.

About EXPO Centre

• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and event-driven deadlines.

• Sound judgment and problem-solving skills, including knowing when to resolve an issue and when to escalate it.

• Clear communication skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to handle confidential customer, sales, and financial information responsibly.

• Flexibility to support event operations and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do

• Respond to ticketing questions and provide timely, professional service to guests, partners, and internal teams.

• Resolve routine order, account, access, delivery, promotion, and ticket-use issues, escalating exceptions when needed.

• Support guest recovery and event-time ticketing operations, including ticket fulfillment and troubleshooting.

• Process ticket orders and support group sales, partner offers, fundraising, corporate, and other ticket programs.

• Maintain accurate customer, account, sales, and follow-up records throughout the sales cycle.

• Set up, maintain, test, and review ticketed events, products, pricing, offers, access codes, inventory, and customer records.

• Provide first-level system support to internal users and escalate technical issues when required.

• Prepare regular and ad hoc sales, customer, operational, reconciliation, and post-event reports.

• Support lead follow-up, renewals, retention, outreach, and tracking of sales opportunities.

• Maintain workback schedules, procedures, training materials, shared files, and other records that support event readiness.
