Strategic Development Program Trainee – Bracebridge, Ontario

Based in beautiful Bracebridge, Muskoka, our Strategic Development Program is designed to give you real-world experience across every major area of the business — from warehouse logistics and operations to sales, project management, and account development.

Whether you’re a recent graduate, looking for a career change, or someone who enjoys working with people and solving problems, this program provides the tools, mentorship, and hands-on experience needed to grow into a leadership role.

As a Strategic Development Program Trainee, you will progress through a structured 5-phase training program designed to help you understand every aspect of the business and discover the career path that best fits your strengths and goals.

What You’ll Learn

Phase 1 – Warehouse Logistics

Learn the products we sell and gain an understanding of how materials move from vendors to customers. Develop hands-on experience in shipping, receiving, inventory, and sales support.

Phase 2 – Operations

Get involved in:

  • Customer service
  • Counter sales
  • Order management
  • Inventory and pricing
  • Credit management
  • Financial reporting
  • Day-to-day branch operations

Phase 3 – Inside Sales & Project Management

Work closely with customers to provide solutions while learning how to coordinate and manage larger projects.

Phase 4 – Outside Sales & Account Management

Develop skills in:

  • Building customer relationships
  • Identifying new business opportunities
  • Negotiating contracts
  • Managing accounts
  • Growing sales within your territory

Phase 5 – Career Path Development

Take everything you’ve learned throughout the program and determine the career path that excites you most.


Qualifications

  • Class G Driver's License
  • Positive attitude and results oriented mindset
  • Entrepreneurial attitude
  • Desire to continuously learn and grow
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Possess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrity
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team setting
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software


Additional Information

Salary Range - $40,000 to $50,000 plus Profit Share
