The Procurement Manager is responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations. This role requires a highly skilled individual with expertise in sourcing, cost optimization, and contract management to achieve organizational objectives efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities :
- Procurement Strategy :
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize supplier consolidation.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with policies and legal requirements.
- Vendor and Supplier Management :
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure a reliable supply chain.
- Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Process Management :
- Oversee purchase order processing to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Address supplier issues to minimize disruptions.
- Maintain robust procure-to-pay (P2P) systems.
- Cost Optimization :
- Implement and monitor cost-saving strategies.
- Analyze pricing trends and manage supplier performance evaluations.
- Contract Management :
- Develop and administer supplier contracts, including service-level agreements and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
