Forklift Operator

Shift: 2am-10:30am, Monday-Friday

Location: Kingston, ON

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team and support daily shipping, receiving, and inventory operations in a fast‑paced LTL (Less‑than‑Truckload) environment. This role involves operating both sit‑down and stand‑up forklifts, including order pickers, for the entire duration of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Complete all shipping and receiving tasks using an order picker.
• Use handheld scanners to accurately track and enter inventory data.
• Operate sit‑down forklifts
• Handle a variety of freight, including palletized and loose items.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while following safety protocols.

Essential Skills

• Valid certification on sit‑down counterbalance forklifts.
• Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience.
• Strong material‑handling skills, ideally within LTL shipping.
• Ability to read and write English to follow documentation and safety procedures.
