Job description

Job Title: OPTICAL Specialist
Position Type: Temp-to-Perm
Shift Time: 3 pm – 11:30 pm
Wage $21-25/hr

Must work independently in a high-volume environment. Responsibilities
Perform general optical laboratory duties to support daily production.
Block lenses in preparation for the edging process.
Operate and assist with lens edging equipment.
Clean, inspect, and prepare lenses and finished eyewear.
Unpack incoming materials and organize inventory.
Conduct quality checks to ensure lenses and eyewear meet company standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all company procedures and health and safety guidelines.
Assist with other lab-related duties as required.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in an optical lab, manufacturing, or production environment is considered an asset but is not required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
