What You'll Do

  • Mechanical Systems Management : Install, repair, and maintain climate control systems, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Building Automation Systems (BAS) : Monitor and operate BAS and computerized control systems to optimize building performance.
  • Preventative Maintenance : Oversee and contribute to our Planned Maintenance Program and Energy Management Program for peak efficiency.
  • Safety and Compliance : Conduct regular safety inspections, including emergency systems testing and fire alarm verifications.
  • Interior and Exterior Upkeep : Maintain the aesthetic appeal of residential spaces through general maintenance, ensuring the property reflects our commitment to excellence.
  • Tenant Support : Respond promptly to tenant service requests, fostering positive relationships and enhancing their living experience.

    • What You Bring

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (trade school or technical training preferred).
  • A 4th or 5th Class Power Engineering certificate and ABSA certification.
  • Relevant certifications in HVAC / R or mechanical systems maintenance.
  • Solid knowledge of building systems and experience with BAS and computerized control systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • The physical ability to perform manual tasks, lift heavy equipment, and work outdoors in various conditions.
