Competitive Benefits. Meaningful Extras. Unmatched Value.

  • A place where you can take your career in the direction you want to grow and go

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to support and evolve a large-scale, hybrid SAP landscape. This role offers the opportunity to work across on-premise and cloud environments, including S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and integrated enterprise platforms, while playing a key role in system reliability, performance optimization, security, and automation. The successful candidate will partner closely with infrastructure, application, security, and testing teams to ensure high availability, compliance, and continuous improvement across the SAP ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, download, and install SAP support packs; perform system upgrades, production failovers, and ongoing monitoring of ABAP and Java environments.
  • Provide advanced application and technical support across OS, database, network, clustering, and system dependencies.
  • Configure and manage SAP Cloud ALM (CALM) to monitor SAP and non-SAP systems, including alerting on resource and service failures.
  • Deliver operational support for OpenText components, including ICC, Archive Server, and VIM.
  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues to maintain high SAP availability and performance.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce standard operating procedures and SAP best practices.
  • Design and architect SAP systems across multiple platforms; configure and optimize S/4HANA Cloud environments.
  • Manage transports, client copies, application parameters, performance tuning, and security enforcement.
  • Monitor application performance and collaborate with SAP to optimize system efficiency using analytics and performance data.
  • Support SAP migrations, upgrades, and user adoption initiatives; implement automation and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance within hybrid SAP landscapes and support risk assessments and audit requirements.
  • Integrate SAP systems with SAP BTP, supporting secure connectivity and governance.

SAP BTP & Cloud Responsibilities
  • Manage entitlements, quotas, and provisioning of SAP BTP services (Integration Suite, Build Apps, Launchpad, etc.).
  • Create and manage service instances, keys, bindings, and destinations for secure HTTP, SOAP, and RFC connectivity.
  • Install and configure SAP Cloud Connector for on-premise integration.
  • Integrate Azure AD → IAS → SAP BTP via IPS, including trust configurations and automated user synchronization.
  • Connect SAP BTP with S/4HANA, Event Mesh, Process Automation, APIs, and CPI.
  • Enable, monitor, and troubleshoot CPI flows, audit logs, alerts, bindings, and performance issues.
  • Monitor usage, optimize resources, and clean up unused services and instances.

Testing & Automation Tools
  • Install, configure, and maintain Tricentis tools (Tosca Server, Distributed Agents, NeoLoad).
  • Apply patches, manage backups, and monitor overall system health.
  • Manage integrations with Jira, ALM tools, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Sauce Labs, qTest, Tosca, and NeoLoad.
  • Configure repositories, workflows, and automation frameworks.
  • Deliver training, maintain documentation, and optimize execution environments for large-scale automated testing.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or foreign equivalent).

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of SAP Basis Administration experience in large-scale SAP environments with multiple modules and applications.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on SAP HANA experience.

  • Strong expertise in SAP NetWeaver configuration for both ABAP and Java systems, including:

    • STMS

    • ICM settings

    • SSO and SSL configuration

    • Configtool and NetWeaver Administrator (NWA).

  • Solid understanding of SAN, operating systems, networking, clustering, and advanced hardware concepts.

  • Proven experience with S/4HANA architecture, SAP BTP, cloud platforms, and enterprise security.

  • Deep knowledge of identity and security services, including IAS, IPS, and Azure AD.

  • Hands-on experience with integration tools such as Cloud Connector, CPI, and APIs.

Humble. Hungry. Smart. Does this sound like you?

Do others describe you as being a down-to-earth achiever? Someone who thinks outside the box and always strives to do more than what is required? Someone who sees the bigger picture? You sound brilliant to work with!

We Want You To Shine:

We are committed to providing equal opportunities to all applicants. If you require accommodation due to a disability, you will have an opportunity to notify us when scheduling your interview.

Belonging Matters. Because You Do:

We are an equal opportunity employer and encourage applications from all qualified individuals. Our ability to work as one team across Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean is foundational to our success. We show up as our authentic selves each day and create space for one another’s unique contributions.

We respect the diverse cultures, traditions, and perspectives of Indigenous Peoples and seek to achieve equitable partnerships and opportunities with Indigenous communities.

The Fine Print:

Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the country in which they applied. Regrettably, we are unable to sponsor employment visas at this time.

Final candidates will be required to undergo a confidential pre-employment background check, including but not limited to educational, criminal, credit, drug and alcohol, and/or fitness for duty testing.
