Job description
Join a progressive team at a modern facility in Langley, BC. We’re seeking a hands-on Maintenance Mechanic who performs well in a fast-paced setting and is motivated to support operational efficiency. This position goes beyond day-to-day maintenance—you’ll contribute to a workplace focused on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement. From equipment installs to troubleshooting, your work will directly support smooth production and equipment uptime.

What You Bring:
Strong mechanical aptitude with confidence using hand tools independently
Experience maintaining, installing, and repairing industrial machinery
Solid troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues effectively
Familiarity with CNC equipment, PLCs, VFDs, servos, and related systems

Training will be provided on site-specific equipment and processes, but a strong mechanical foundation and proactive mindset are essential. This role is well suited for someone detail-oriented, solutions-driven, and eager to grow within a collaborative, high-performing team.

Role Details:
Position: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Langley, BC
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Schedule: Sunday to Thursday
Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM (nightshift)
Compensation: $33.00–$38.00/hour + $3.50 night shift premium

Requirements:
Prior maintenance experience required for consideration
Strong mechanical aptitude considered an asset
Red Seal or Millwright certification considered an asset
You are legally eligible to work full-time in British Columbia

Responsibilities
Read diagrams and schematics to determine repair or installation steps
Install and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
Inspect machinery for irregularities or malfunctions
Repair or replace defective parts and adjust machinery as needed
Fabricate parts using machine tools during setup or repairs
Ensure safety devices function properly after installations or repairs
Maintain and sharpen machine tools
Perform preventative maintenance and keep detailed service records
Clean and lubricate machinery regularly
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Perform additional tasks as assigned


Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing
Experience with automation; electrical knowledge is a plus
Familiarity with CNC machines and PLCs are an asset
Hands-on experience with fans, motors, pumps, valves, hoists, compressors, cylinders, and conveyors
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable working independently and under tight deadlines
Safety-first mindset with knowledge of equipment safety standards
Flexibility to work various shifts when needed (e.g., vacation coverage)
Commitment to continuous improvement

Physical and Working Conditions:
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing physical tasks like reaching, kneeling, and standing for long periods
Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and weather elements
Work in a physically demanding environment (lifting, kneeling, standing)
Must follow safety regulations and handle equipment and chemical hazards
Use of personal protective equipment provided
