Representing top automation technology worldwide, a Commissioning Engineer in this role will travel up to 50% nationally and internationally to deliver pristine customer service, execute complex electro-mechanical setups, and optimize machine performance on customer sites. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will gain hands-on access to state-of-the-art mechatronics, continuous technical development, and opportunities to engineer innovative solutions every day.

Advantages
• Opportunity for salary adjustments based on qualifications determined during the hiring process.

• Full-time, permanent position within the high-growth engineering & design sector.

• Comprehensive health, dental, and medical benefits coverage.

• Paid vacation, corporate store discounts, and employee wellness initiatives.

• Modern, well-lit advanced facility located conveniently near Highways 400 and 407 in Concord, Ontario, featuring free on-site parking.

• Exciting global travel opportunities (up to 50% national and international travel).

Responsibilities
• Take complete ownership of system testing, and commissioning through to final customer acceptance.

• Work directly with cross-functional engineering teams and clients during design reviews and on-site implementations as a lead Commissioning Engineer.

• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical challenges, identify root causes, and document actionable technical solutions.

• Train client operators and maintenance staff on best practices for machine setup, performance optimization, and ongoing maintenance.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and mechanical blueprints to ensure precise system assembly and operation.

• Serve as the primary technical field liaison, delivering pristine customer service and representing brand excellence globally.

Qualifications
• Expert knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, mechatronics, and high-speed automated packaging machinery.

• Strong diagnostic skills for root-cause electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering schematics and technical blueprints.

• Outstanding interpersonal and technical communication skills.

• Ability to deliver high-quality technical training and mentorship to client operators and maintenance technicians.

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.

• 4+ years of hands-on commissioning experience as a Commissioning Engineer with automated equipment or packaging machinery.

• Proven background in reading and analyzing complex technical schematics.

• Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 50% globally for customer deployments.

• Valid passport and driver's license for travel requirements.
