In this role, you will be responsible for handling custom orders in a repetitive manufacturing environment while operating automated machinery with accuracy and efficiency. This position is ideal for someone who values safety, consistency and teamwork.
This is a 3-month contract with strong potential for a permanent position based on performance.
Position: Machine Operator
Shift: Day Shift – Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (overtime available)
Salary: $20.00/hour ($22.00/hour with roll-forming experience) – Paid weekly
Location: Edmonton, AB

Responsibilities
In this role, your responsibilities are :
- Operate and manage up to 10 types of automated machines, including entering templates for steel bending
- Load steel coils using an overhead crane while following strict safety practices
- Process custom orders in a high-volume, repetitive production environment
- Maintain a consistent pace and output in line with machine capabilities
- Strictly follow all safety procedures and guidelines, with safety as a top priority
- Maintain clear and consistent communication at all times
Qualifications
Qualifications required for this role :
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating an overhead crane, specifically for loading steel coils
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, repetitive production environment
- Previous machine operator experience is a strong asset
- Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers is an asset
- Able to maintain a steady and consistent pace while operating machinery
- CSA-approved safety footwear required
