What you will be doing:
Dispatch and coordinate trucks and drivers across multiple construction sites
Optimize daily routes based on traffic, site conditions, and priorities
Communicate clearly with drivers, site supers, project managers, and customers
Manage real-time changes, delays, breakdowns, and urgent requests
Monitor job progress and ensure service commitments are met
Log loads, tickets, times, and notes accurately in dispatch systems
Work closely with operations and management to maximize fleet efficiency
Deliver top-tier customer service, even in stressful situations
What you must have:
2+ years of dispatch experience in construction, trucking, waste, or logistics (required)
Deep knowledge of the Lower Mainland & Greater Vancouver
You know the difference between Surrey, Richmond, Burnaby, Vancouver, Langley, and Coquitlam
Strong ability to handle high-pressure situations and constant change
Excellent communication skills (clear, confident, professional)
Proven customer service skills calm, solutions-focused, and respectful
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Comfortable using dispatch software, GPS tracking, and Microsoft Office
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make quick decisions
Team-oriented mindset with accountability and ownership of your work
Salary/Rate Range: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00
