Job description
We are looking for skilled individuals to join our Calgary production team to craft the custom, high-durability shipping solutions that protect our global exports. If you take pride in seeing a project through from raw lumber to a finished, structural product, we want you in our shop.

The Mission on the Floor
Custom Fabrication: Build high-spec wooden crates and precision pallets tailored to unique, project-specific shipping requirements.

Technical Operation: Daily mastery of table saws, band saws, and industrial wood-processing equipment.

Structural Assembly: Utilize pneumatic air nailers to engineer sturdy, reliable containers designed to withstand global logistics.

Quality Integrity: Maintain rigorous structural standards to ensure every product can survive the demands of international transit.

What You Bring to the Team
Woodworking Foundations: Solid experience with stationary saws and a fundamental understanding of shop tools.

Tool Command: High proficiency with pneumatic equipment; you understand that air nailers are the backbone of our daily production.

Precision Mindset: A sharp eye for measurement accuracy to ensure a perfect fit and eliminate material waste.

Professional Reliability: You take personal pride in the "integrity of the build" and show up ready to hit the floor running.

Shift & Compensation
Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM $18.36/hr

Night Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM $19.36/hr (Includes $1.00 shift premium)

Schedule: Monday through Friday—enjoy your weekends off.

Location: Calgary (Transit-accessible, though we recommend checking schedules for late-night shift ends).

Advantages
Health Options: Choice of optional benefit packages.

Great Atmosphere: A friendly, hardworking team that treats you like a person, not a number.

On-the-Job Training: Learn new techniques and master industrial tools while you work.

Transit Accessible: Skip the parking stress—we are just steps away from the bus stop.

Responsibilities
Custom Fabrication: Measure and cut lumber to precise specifications using industrial band saws and table saws.

Assembly & Construction: Build heavy-duty wooden pallets and shipping crates from the ground up.

Pneumatic Tool Operation: Expertly utilize high-pressure pneumatic nailers and staplers for efficient assembly.

Material Reclamation: Carefully disassemble and break down incoming pallets to salvage or prep materials for production.

Shop Safety: Maintain a clean workspace while safely operating a variety of high-powered stationary and hand tools.

Qualifications
Technical Proficiency: Expertly skilled in the safe operation of stationary power saws (Table Saw/Band Saw) and high-velocity pneumatic assembly tools.

Industry Experience: A solid background in Manufacturing, Woodworking, or Construction is required.

Precision-Focused: High attention to detail with the ability to follow blueprints or cut lists to the exact measurement.

Safety Conscious: A proven track record of strictly adhering to shop safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Versatile Work Style: Capable of managing individual tasks independently while contributing to a high-energy team environment.
