Job description

Staffmax is helping our client hire a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator for a 6-month contract. This role is perfect for someone with strong organizational skills and a background in supply chain or distribution operations. You’ll be the central point of contact to ensure the smooth flow of goods and information.

Contract length: 6 Months
Location: Toronto, ON

Key Responsibilities:

· Coordinate the shipping and receiving of materials, products, and supplies

· Maintain communication with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments

· Schedule pickups and deliveries while optimizing cost and efficiency

· Track shipments and resolve delays or issues proactively

· Maintain accurate inventory records and databases

· Generate shipping documents and customs paperwork when necessary

· Support warehouse and production teams with logistics planning

Requirements:

· Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination

· Strong problem-solving and time management abilities

· Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Excel

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
