General Description
The ADMS Project’s primary objective is to replace three legacy distribution control systems with GE Vernova’s Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS). With this replacement, certain processes will also be revisited to make them more efficient and the quality of source data will be reviewed and improved where needed. The project’s Change Management and Training Team is responsible for developing and delivering activities that will drive stakeholder awareness, readiness and adoption through the change.

•The Change Management Professional Level 1, with support/guidance from a Senior Change Management professional, advises on change initiatives and performs change management activities, enabling successful implementation of projects safely, with quality, within budget, and on time.

Responsibilities
Role Specialty Title: Training Support Professional

Role Accountabilities:

· Collect scheduling inputs from business groups to develop and manage training schedules

· Execute training logistics to ensure successful delivery of all training

· Analyze data and develop reports by using databases, information systems, surveys and tools to track training delivery metrics

· Support the development of user-friendly technical training materials and courses to support successful adoption

Additional Experience and Role Accountabilities
• A minimum one (1) to two (2) years experience in designing, developing, and delivering training within a project environment.
• Collaborate with the project team and the business to support gathering and confirming training requirements and organizational context.
• Support assessing and translating subject matter into content that can be easily understood by target audiences.
• Support the design and development of basic training materials for low impact changes such as presentations, job aids, guides, information brief.
• Apply company guidelines, standards, and templates in creating materials.
• Plan and manage training delivery to target audiences.
• Execute and support the training delivery approach (e.g. deliver content where appropriate or enable others to deliver).
• Measure and evaluate effectiveness of training materials and delivery including lessons learned.
• Plan and execute corrective measures as needed.
• Develop sustainment plan for training.
• Hand over sustainment plan and training materials to business operations. Additional Education and Skills
• Quick learner and able to synthesize and make sense of information from multiple sources
• Organized, self-starter, and takes initiative
• Ability to work independently with little direction
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight timelines
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable with public speaking
• Experience with Camtasia, Video editing software (e.g. Movie Maker), an asset



Qualifications
Must haves:

· Excellent English communication skills (oral, writing, presentation/training and interpersonal)

· Quick learner and technical aptitude, with an ability to synthesize and make sense of information from multiple sources

· Organized, self-starter and takes initiative

· Strong attention to detail

· Comfortable with public speaking

· Must be able to come to office
