Key Responsibilities

• Execute battery pack development and validation tests.
• Collaborate with lab technicians on test preparation, setup, execution, and post-test handling.
• Generate comprehensive test reports and interim reports as needed.
• Ensure adherence to lab safety protocols and testing standards.
• Optimize test equipment utilization in collaboration with schedulers.
• Proactively address and resolve test-related issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of three years of experience in laboratory or engineering environments.
• Proficiency in laboratory tools and instruments.
• Experience with lithium-ion batteries.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada.

Preferences

• Master of Science degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Familiarity with AVL PUMA or similar battery test systems.
• Experience with CAN tools and data processing using MATLAB or Python.
• Knowledge of EV battery pack diagnosis and teardown.
• Understanding of ISO 17025 or 9001 accreditation.
