Job description
Shift:WEEKEND, Full Time, Permanent (34.5 hours)Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7:00am – 7:00pm Friday, Saturday Sunday 7:00pm – 7:00am


Precision Resource is a leading global supplier of precision metal components and assemblies. We are looking for weekend Cell Technician(s) to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.

Responsibilities:
  • Performs overall set up accurately in accordance with detailed set up sheets and ERP instructions
  • Cleary identifies and communicates part issues in ERP system as well as interacts with other departments
  • Operates equipment in accordance with training and procedures provided. He/she will be expected to meet or exceed production throughput and quality targets
  • Operate tools and equipment as per instructions and keep them in good working order. Report malfunctioning tools and equipment to lead hand or supervisor
  • Verify equipment settings as per approved settings in ERP system and report discrepancies to supervisor
  • Troubleshoots alarms at equipment
  • Prepare customer parts for processing - loads and unloads parts
  • Monitor and adjust the process control parameters
  • Perform first off and periodic inspections
Qualifications:
  • Graduation from high school or receipt of equivalent degree (GED)
  • 1 year manufacturing experience
  • Heat treat experience would be an asset
  • Metallurgical lab experience would be an asset
  • Mechanical/technical aptitude an asset
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
