JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose :

The inventory associate will proactively track, record and manage incoming Finished Goods Inventory using SAP and Manhattan and identify and initiate actions on process enhancements within all areas of accountability. In addition, you will monitor active locations for utilization so that slot maintenance is done in a timely manner leading to increased operational efficiencies and improved service levels. In addition, the associate will update the finished goods inventory and approve the Data Measurement Forms (DMF)

Key Results :

• Maintain slotting tools and metrics
• Collaborate with key stakeholders (warehouse, planning, sales) to identify aged product in order to create openings for new slotting
• Update finished goods inventory and approve DMF

Working conditions – Primarily works in a distribution center environment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required :

Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and problem solving abilities Advanced proficiency with MS Office applications Manhattan and SAP experience preferred Self-starter, demonstrates initiative and commitment Strong and effective interpersonal communication skills with ability to establish and maintain co-operative and effective working relationships Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to envision and implement ideas through executed solutions Excellent time management skills Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities in a deadline driven environment Overtime may be required

Years and Type of Experience Required :

2 to 3 years of warehouse operations or logistics operations experience Manhattan and SAP an asset

Minimum Education Required :

University / College degree with a focus on Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or similar technical area of focus..
