INTRODUCTION

As the Assistant Branch Manager you will be an integral member of the Branch Leadership team. You will contribute to the overall success of the branch and ensure a high level of client service is achieved through effective operations and administrative efficiencies.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

In this role you will:

  • Take a lead role in supporting Advisor teams and solving day to day issues
  • Assist the Branch Manager in the continued implementation and adoption of our Total Wealth Strategy
  • Provide on-going coaching with employee development, performance management and motivation
  • Collaborate with Wealth Specialists and Bank partners in delivering thoughtful, holistic advice leading to the best possible outcome for our clients
  • Maintain regulatory requirements and organizational standards
  • Build and create a high performance environment in which your team pursues effective and efficient operations
  • Foster an inclusive work environment using a coaching mindset and behaviours

DO YOU HAVE THE SKILLS

We’d love to work with you if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in the investment industry (Wealth Management/Financial Services)
  • Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO)
  • CIRO Supervisor License is an asset
  • A coaching mindset with experience communicating a business strategy
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
  • Previous management experience considered an asset
  • Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
