You've worked hard your whole life.
Sports, school, summer jobs and internships. You know what effort costs.
This summer, put it toward something real: your own business.
SWMP is an 8-month program (winter through fall) where you learn to run your own business before you graduate.
You'll spend the winter and spring (First semester) building it from scratch (sales, hiring, planning).
Then run it all summer as the general manager.
You will handle real customers, a real crew, and will be responsible for a real P&L.
What you'll actually do:
Build and lead your own crew: hiring, training, and managing people who count on you
Sell and win your own customers before the season even starts
Own your budget, your margins, and your bottom line
Report on real numbers (revenue, costs, profit)
You’ll work part-time during the first semester and full-time in the summer
Who this is for:
You've got something to prove, and you're tired of waiting for permission to prove it
You take feedback without getting defensive.
You want to get better, fast
You've pushed yourself somewhere competitive before (varsity sport, a demanding program, a family business) and know what showing up actually means
You want an answer to "what am I capable of", not just another line for your resume
What you'll walk away with:
Hands-on general management experience, a real P&L to point to, a mentor relationship that outlasts the summer, and a concrete answer to "tell me about a time you led a team" that isn't hypothetical.
Average earnings during the 1st year are 27k - 29k.
