Project Lead – AI Strategy Implementation and drive high-impact AI transformation in Personal Banking. You’ll define and prioritize the AI product roadmap, bridging technical and business teams to maximize value. Your role is pivotal in accelerating AI adoption, consolidating data, and executing strategies to tackle complex challenges. What will you do?AI / Agentic Industry Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of industry best practices, the evolving landscape, and identify system capabilities, gaps and opportunities.
Vision & Roadmap: Develop and maintain a prioritized backlog of AI initiatives based on business needs and ROI.
Requirements Definition: Work with stakeholders to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics for AI solutions.
Collaboration: Partner with data scientists, engineers, and business units to ensure AI products meet user needs.
Value Delivery: Focus on delivering incremental value through iterative AI deployments (e.g., pilot programs).
Feedback Loop: Gather user feedback to refine AI tools and ensure adoption.
Compliance & Ethics: Ensure AI solutions adhere to regulatory standards and RBC’s ethical AI guidelines.
Stakeholder Management: Identify and prioritize stakeholder requirements, ensuring effective onboarding and communication of strategic direction. Build trust through reliability and transparency, facilitating negotiations, and managing conflict resolution.
What do you need to succeed?Must have:3-5+ years leading AI/agentic projects in large, complex organizations, including driving adoption of AI/ML or data-driven products at scale.
Strong analytical and business translation skills, converting business needs into technical requirements while proposing data-driven solutions.
Agile expertise with frameworks (e.g., Scrum) and tools (e.g., Confluence, Aha!) for project management and collaboration.
AI/ML proficiency in concepts and business applications, paired with financial services/banking industry experience.
Strong relationship management and stakeholder leadership in requirements gathering, elicitation, and documentation, with advanced communication skills to engage senior/executive audiences and diverse teams.
Comfort navigating ambiguity, fostering rapid decision-making, and influencing outcomes to drive AI deployments from ambiguity to full scale.
