Our client is seeking a hands-on, people-focused HR Manager to join their growing team in Waterloo. Responsibilities

• Serve as the sole HR representative for the organization, owning all HR functions
• Special emphasis on full-cycle recruitment for all positions, and on creating and refining policies and procedures
• Act as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees on HR-related matters as the company grows
• Champion company culture, engagement, and employee experience initiatives

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR experience in a managerial or standalone HR role
• Strong experience in full-cycle recruitment, benefits administration, policy development and refinement, employee relations, employment law, performance management, and health & safety
• CHRP or CHRL designation is considered an asset
• Comfortable working independently and building HR processes from scratch
• Fun-loving, approachable, and culture-oriented
