Job description
We are seeking an experienced Adobe FrameMaker and SharePoint Online Developer to lead the design and implementation of a Component Content Management System (CCMS). This role is critical for modernizing technical documentation workflows, specifically focusing on complex maintenance and safety manuals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build a scalable, structured content environment that leverages reusable objects and automated workflows to support rigorous reliability and safety standards.

Pay Rate: $65.12- $71.8/Hr

Advantages
- Lead the transition from legacy unstructured documentation to a modern, high-efficiency CCMS.

- Support critical safety and maintenance processes through the delivery of high-quality technical documentation systems.

- Work extensively with Adobe FrameMaker 2022, SharePoint Online, and Python-based automation.

- Work within a professional framework that values quality, formal change management, and technical documentation excellence.

Responsibilities
- Develop a CCMS using Adobe FrameMaker 2022 and SharePoint Online to enable the creation and assembly of defined content objects.

- Create Native PDF templates for structured document types, ensuring compliance with internal standards and requirements.

- Lead the migration of 500 legacy PDF documents into Structured FrameMaker formats.

- Integrate FrameMaker 2022 with secondary systems and Adobe products, specifically SharePoint Online and Acrobat.

- Develop custom components using JavaScript, Python, and Bash scripting to automate document translation and structure.

- Design and maintain automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate to support document production and approvals.

- Manage document libraries, including permissions, metadata configuration, and version control.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with Adobe FrameMaker 2022, with deep expertise in managing structured content and dynamic XML customization.

- Expert-level skills in JavaScript, Python, and Bash to automate the translation of unstructured documents (.fm, .pdf, .word) into structured formats.

- Proven experience maintaining SharePoint Online environments and developing workflows within the Microsoft Power Platform.

- Strong understanding of Component Content Management (CCMS), including reusable content objects and version revisioning.

- University degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).

- Ability to distinguish between out-of-the-box functionality and the need for custom-coded components to meet business requirements.
