Are you the person we're looking for?

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and highly motivated Senior Industry Analyst & Public Relations Specialist to lead global industry analyst engagement and support on North American earned media activities.

Reporting to the Director, Global Public Relations and partnering closely with product management, product marketing, sales, and executive leadership, this role helps shape how industry analysts, the media, customers, and other external stakeholders understand and evaluate QNX. Acting as both a trusted advisor to the business and an external advocate for the brand, you will strengthen analyst relationships, drive media visibility, and help position QNX at the forefront of software-defined vehicles, physical AI, safety-critical edge computing, robotics, and other intelligent systems.

What You'll Do:

Analyst Relations (Global)

• Develop and execute a comprehensive industry analyst relations strategy aligned with corporate and business objectives.
• Serve as the primary liaison between QNX and key analyst firms including Counterpoint Research, TechInsights, SBD Automotive, ABI Research, Gartner, IDC and other relevant industry influencers.
• Schedule, plan, and manage analyst briefings, inquiries and broader engagement programs.
• Define quarterly and annual analyst engagement plans that strengthen analyst awareness, advocacy, and market understanding of QNX.
• Manage participation in analyst evaluations, market guides, vendor assessments, and competitive rankings.
• Identify opportunities to improve QNX's positioning within influential industry reports and frameworks.
• Leverage analyst insights to inform messaging, competitive positioning, product strategy, and executive thought leadership.
• Integrate analyst-developed assets, research, and third-party validation into broader communications and marketing campaigns.

Public Relations & Communications (North America)

• Help lead North American PR campaigns and announcements, translating global communications priorities into regional media strategies that drive awareness and business impact.
• Develop media pitches, press releases, executive briefing materials, bylined articles, and thought leadership content.
• Identify and secure executive media interviews, speaking opportunities and award nominations
• Monitor the North American media landscape, emerging industry trends, competitor activity, and breaking news opportunities to inform communications strategy.
• Partner with field, customer & product marketing, and sales leaders to identify customer stories, market proof points, and regional success stories that can support media outreach and thought leadership.
• Help to manage external PR agency partners and oversee campaign execution, reporting, and performance measurement.
• Track analyst and media engagement metrics and provide insights and recommendations to continuously improve program effectiveness.

What You Bring

• Significant experience in analyst relations, public relations, corporate communications, or strategic communications, with a passion for shaping industry conversations and building brand influence.
• Established relationships and experience working with leading analyst firms such as Gartner, IDC, SBD Automotive, TechInsights, ABI Research, Counterpoint Research, and other influential market intelligence organizations. Experience leveraging analyst insights to strengthen market positioning is highly valued.
• Demonstrated success cultivating trusted relationships with industry analysts, media, influencers, and key stakeholders to elevate brand reputation and thought leadership.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience developing compelling executive messaging, managing media engagement, creating impactful content, and driving thought leadership initiatives.
• Strong business and communications acumen, with the ability to translate emerging market trends, competitive intelligence, and analyst insights into strategic narratives that advance business objectives.
• Experience supporting innovative technology organizations, ideally within automotive, software-defined vehicles, embedded systems, industrial automation, robotics, artificial intelligence, or other transformative technology sectors.
• Proven ability to thrive in dynamic, global organizations, partnering across executive leadership, marketing, product management, engineering, and business teams to deliver integrated communications strategies.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline. An MBA, technical background, or experience communicating complex technologies to diverse audiences is considered a strong asset.

Compensation Hiring Base Salary Range:

$73,600.00 - $96,600.00

Please be advised that the compensation hiring range indicated herein is provided solely as a good-faith estimate of expected base compensation for the position. The actual compensation offered will be determined at the time of hire and is contingent upon multiple factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, demonstrated skills, and results of assessments conducted during the hiring process.
